1 Put a few water droplets directly onto the Marble tiles at various locations.
  1. Allow the droplets to remain for 5-10 minutes, then blot dry with absorbent towel.
  2. If the water marks stay darkened for a period of time in excess of 5 minutes, the existing sealer on the Marble tiles is ineffective, proceed to step three.
  3. If the water marks dry quickly and the tiles return to their normal colour within 2 - 3 minutes proceed to step two.

About Marble
Marble is a nonfoliated metamorphic rock resulting from the metamorphism of limestone, composed mostly of calcite (a crystalline form of calcium carbonate, CaCO3). It is extensively used for sculpture, as a building material, and in many other applications. The word "marble" is colloquially used to refer to many other stones that are capable of taking a high polish.
